Goldwell Capital Attended the 1st Anniversary Dinner of New World Financial Group and Revealed Derivatives Investment Opportunities

On the evening of January 9, 2020, the first anniversary dinner of New World Financial Group was held in Yangon, Myanmar. As a great partner, Goldwell Capital solemnly got invited to participate and share experiences in the financial derivatives industry.

The dinner gathered many government officials and business leaders. The associates of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar participated and showed support for the development of Myanmar’s financial industry from the government. Mr. Min Htike Aung, Chairman of New World Financial Group and his wife, Mrs. Thin Thin Khine, Director of New World Financial Group, attended the dinner and expressed their gratitude to the guests and hoped to have a wonderful evening with everyone. Beside the professional sharings, there was also live music performance by the well-known singers from Myanmar and lucky draw, which brought the participants into a pleasant atmosphere.

Mr. George Black, Chief Investment Adviser of Goldwell Capital, made a passionate speech at the dinner. He expressed his love for the country of Myanmar and hoped that he could develop derivatives business here and make a contribution to the financial market of the whole country. At the same time, George emphasized in his speech that any industry needs to be regulated and supported by a fair and transparent regulatory system, as is the derivatives industry. Only in this way can the market get trusted by the public, and the market development be more sound and smooth. Mr. Naoto Arase, Head of Fintech of Goldwell Capital, introduced the derivatives industry from a technical perspective. In Japan, Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) has a wide range of applications and the derivatives industry has successfully integrated AI into it. In the process, robots place orders instead of manual operation, which brings a rational, convenient and fast experience for traders. This sharing aroused the interest of the audience that night. The technology was progressing, and the derivatives industry was gradually integrating organically with new technology. It is believed that the derivatives market in Myanmar will become more vigorous in the future.
